- develop and maintain the organization's compliance monitoring system
- establish and maintain an internal audit programme
- conduct internal and/or independent audits
- identify non-compliances and issue findings and recommendations
- monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- report periodically to the Accountable Manager and senior management
- ensure independence from the areas being audited
- ensure compliance with national and European aviation legislation
- maintain the documentation and records related to audits
- cooperate with civil aviation authorities (AACR, AIAS, EASA, FAA etc.)
- implement and maintain the organisation’s Safety Management System (SMS)
- develop and oversee the safety reporting system
- collect, analyse, and assess safety risks
- conduct non-punitive investigations into safety occurrences and incidents
- propose and follow up on the implementation of corrections, corrective and preventive actions
- maintain a safety culture and a Just Culture within the organisation
- promote safety through campaigns, training, and internal communication
- report periodically to the Accountable Manager, senior management and Safety Review Board (SRB)
- update the SMS in accordance with EASA regulations and ICAO standards and recommended practices
- deliver independent audits in your areas of activity and in accordance with our qualifications and capabilities, using your own compliance monitoring tools and approved procedures
